Welcome to my official website.<\/p>\r\n

I am Dr. Sovan Dalai,<\/strong> Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University. With over two decades of experience in teaching, research and professional activities, my work focuses on advancing electrical engineering, particularly in high-voltage engineering, condition monitoring and intelligent data-driven solutions for power systems.<\/p>\r\n

My research aims to bridge the gap between theoretical developments and practical applications, with contributions in partial discharge analysis, advanced dielectric materials, and modern computational techniques. I have also been actively involved in mentoring postgraduate and doctoral students, consultancy and collaborative research.<\/p>\r\n

Through this website, I share an overview of my academic journey, research interests, publications, projects and professional engagements. It is intended as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and academic interaction.<\/p>\r\n
